As noble men and women, the players try to hire workers from the town to defend themselves against enemies, build fortifications and
spread the faith throughout the land. Fortunately, you are not alone. The king, being a wise man, has sent his finest knights to assist in our efforts. Saddle the horses, sharpen the swords – the paladins are on their way.
The player with the most victory points (VP) at the end of the game is the winner. Victory points can be earned by building outposts and fortifications, sending out monks and confronting outsiders. Each round, players request assistance from a specific paladin and hire workers to carry out tasks. During the game, faith, strength and influence will gradually increase. Not only does this affect the number of victory points, but it also determines the strength of your actions. The
game ends at the end of the 7th round.
